Thanks to all who came to the York Festival of Storytelling

If you missed it this time, there's always next year. I'm creating a new site entirely dedicated to the Festival, which will link to this page when finished. Highlights of 2012's festival included a huge audience of happy school children for Noel Watkins' "Enter the Dragon" Chinese folklore; Adrian Spendlow's and Mary Passeri's Hilarious Kingdom of Never Sleep; Mud Pie Arts' polished performance of The Three Sillies; Ali Morgan's sell-out "Wee Folk" event;
the wonderful gentle spiritual dance and storytelling from Shrikant, Jane Oakshott's Medieval compliation of story and song with music from the Leeds Waits and a popular performance of The Wild Woman Tales from Catherine Heinemeyer and Helen M Sant, not forgetting the amazing and impressive signing provided by Natalie Jackson at several events. 2013 can only be even better! Storytellers and audience alike reported having a great time.
Well done everyone who contributed, not least the fabulous volunteers: Emma Shaw, Dave Gough, and Frances assisted by Adrian Spendlow.
